Story
Daring man Pushpa Raj ( Allu Arjun ) is a labour. Who worked as a lorry driver. Later he turned into a Red Sandalwood smuggler and advised Konda Reddy’s ( Ajay Gosh ) brothers. Slowly he became a part of the Red Sandalwood Smuggler Syndicate. He also becomes the central part of the Syndicate. Pushpa Raj becomes the enemy to the Mangalam Srinu ( Sunil ), who is already the main lead in a Syndicate. The Pushpa Raj faces the consequences from the Konda Reddy brothers, Mangalam Srinu, and new S. P. Bhanwar Singh Shekavath. How Pushpa Raj fell in love with Rashmika Mandanna ( Srivalli ).
How the Movie was
So far, there have been many stories in Telugu following themes like Mafia Drugs. Director Sukumar chose the theme of red sandalwood smuggling for Pushpa. Our hero Allu Arjun, who is in a good craze for that, was selected as the protagonist. Shortly after, Rashmika Mandanna, popularly known as National Crush, was chosen as the heroine. Audiences’ expectations of the film increased with posters released by the production team just days after the film’s launch.
Sukumar succeeded in portraying the story to the delight of the audience. We shot a scene telling how red sandalwood travels from our Sheshachalam forests to Japan in this movie. After that, the Pushpa Raj arrives. Every scene in this movie is meant to elevate the protagonist’s character. Director Sukumar introduces the original characters behind Pushpa Raj’s Journey and Syndicate. From Pushpa Raj Coolie to the need to grow as a syndicate leader, the way the scenes are shown on the screen impresses the audience.
The second half is how Pushpa Raj will face the competition coming from Errachandanam Syndicate. The love journey in Pushpa Raj Srivalli and the songs impress the crowd. Interest in the film increased with Fahad Fazil’s role as Banwarsingh Shekhawat, who took charge as SP during this time. The movie shot between Pushpa Raj and Banwarsingh Singh Shekhawat is impressive.
A complete dissatisfaction is left to the audience, who expected the first part to end with a strong ending. Director Sukumar went through a lot of things questionable for Part 2. Also, Pushparaj will face Dhakshayani, Mangalam Srinu, Banwarsingh Singh Shekhawat, or any more new characters it will have to see in Pushpa The Rule. The length of the film is longer.
How they Perform
Allu Arjun entertains the audience with his elevating role as Pushpa Raj from the very beginning of the film. Allu Arjun is a one-man show in this movie. Allu Arjun excelled not only in mass look but also in acting. Crowds whistle in every scene where Allu Arjun appears on the screen. Every scene in the film is like ” Thaggedhe Le.” Although Rashmika Mandana de Glamor played the role of Srivalli, she impresses the audience with her natural acting on screen.
Sunil, who entertained us so much as a comedian, played the role of Mangalam Srinu as the villain for the first time in this film. As mentioned at the pre-release event, Sunil made a new appearance in this role. Anasuya, Ajay Ghosh, Rao Ramesh Dhanunjaya, and others did justice to their roles. Malayalam actor Fahad Faasil, who played the role of a police officer, impressed the audience with his performance. Finally, Samantha’s Mass Item song whistles with the audience.
Music composed by Devi Sri Prasad for this film. The music and songs provided by Devi Sri Prasad enlivened the film. Sukumar, Allu Arjun and composer Devi Sri Prasad collaborated in Arya and Arya 2. Songs like Sami Sami, Oo Antaava.. Oo Antaava, Aa Bidda, Srivalli, Daakko Daakko Meka, etc., whistled with the audience. Background music goosebumps. Writer Chandrabose gave beautiful lyrics to all songs of Pushpa. Karthika Srinivas and Ruba worked as two editors for the film. Each of these scenes appears on the screen as the art department struggles to show the wild atmosphere. Mounika who sang Sami Sami song and Indravati who sang Oo Antaava.. Oo Antaava song took the audience to another world. Fights in this film were next level.
